i'm trying to make my profilux 3 ex wireless if anyone can shed light on how to do this with pictures that would be great thank you!

i'm guessing i'd have to connect a router to my P3 then it becomes wireless? if so how come i've seen other profilux's with just a antenna sticking out the back is it cause they integrated a wireless card into their P3?

maybe you are refering to the expansion card PLM-WLAN

this is not available since about 3 years

if you want to make P3 wireless you need a LAN<->WiFi Bridge

you need a bridge like this (http://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-TL-WR802N-Router-WLAN-Geschwindigkeit-300Mbit/dp/B00XPUIDFQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1454696459&sr=8-1&keywords=Wlan+Lan+Bridge)

isn't this just a typical router?

Also, you must use the Client Mode for Profilux

If your router adopts a client mode, yes. But I do not think so. There would be some other ways, but that are not so easy to realize

You may want to configure the router as an access point or repeater. Your Profilux is then normally plugged into a LAN port. The modem function you should turn off.

so it will work?

Yes, why not, is more complex to configure as you router still in your existing network. Simple would be the repeater possibility, but i have no instructions for this way.
