Can anyone tell me how to connect the flow meter and the leakage detector to a Profilux 3.1 ex?

If I'm correct, I have to connect the flow meter on the Level1&2 port and the leakage detector on the Level3&4 port. But I don't know how to set up the leakage detector in the Level menu. I can't see a level-input 3, I only see a input 1 & 2.

Marco

The Leak interface can be connected to Level 1&2 if you have a splitter. To setup the leak sensor, go to the "Level" page, select the "Control Circuit" where you have the leak interface connected, then set it to "Leakage Detection. Once you've done that, save your settings.

The flow sensor needs to be connected to Level 1&2.

Thanks, for the info Vinny.

So it is not possible to connect it to the Level 3&4 port?

Yes, it can be connected without a problem. :)

Just select Control circuit 3 or 4 in the "Level" settings page and set it to "Leakage Detection".

If I do that, it will give an alarm.

What do I write down for the level-input 1 and 2?

The alarm will go off if the interface does not detect a leak sensor connected to it. When you have the Interface connected to Level 1 and 2, you can pick to use either 1 or 2, both do not have to be used.

Only if you have a splitter and want to connect two different level devices to the ports, you can then separate them and assign them to the correct level device.

I have a leakage detector connected to port level3&4. Why doesn't the interface detect it?

Please check to see that the cable is pushed in all the way.
