Mitras LEDs dim

I bought a second hand Mitras LX6100HV and wired it up yesterday, but there is only 1 or 2 leds lit in each section and they are VERY dim. Also the screen on the side isnt lit.

Is it likely that it is still trying to connect to the Profilux or does it sound like there is an issue with the LED?

Any suggestions on how I can check?
