I tried 3 other usb cables and no go. Went back to the original cord and it suddenly worked. Is this normal? Is the USB it comes with something other than standard USB?
If the other USB cables were not universal (meant for printers, drives, etc.), it may cause Windows to load the incorrect driver.
As long as the proper GHL driver was installed, device manager will show GHL Virtual Communications Port. If this did not show, the correct driver would have to be manually installed. Steps for this can be seen here:
