It was always going to happen! Even i am now connected, system visible outside and app installed.
Took 2 minutes and totally hassle free.
well what is the trick come on we all want to connect
profilux 3x wireless enabled 3 ecotech pumps and wireless adapter
3 Simuspots 2 levl sensors ( min /max)
4 channel dossing pump 2 PAB 6 outlets
Temp PH and redox sensors 2 mitras 6100HV
touch Condutivity sensor wireles card
providing you have you controller networked and visible to the outside network it is very simple (I will add however that there is an ongoing connection issue that GHL are sorting out this week and uploading a new version, this is where once connected you get various reports of device not responding)
Putting that aside -
All you need is your IP address of your home and the port being used, typically the port is port 80
You also need your profilux's password which you should have set when setting up your system on your home network.
Just a thought, but if your router supports Dynamic DNS registration its a good idea to set this up. Your ISP provided IP address can change from time to time (particularly after a power outage) so its best to use a free service like DynDNS which your routers provides your external IP address to and you have a semi configurable user friendly web address. .e.g. http://magicamikes-profilux.dyndns.org for which you can configure your app to connect to. This way if your ISP provided IP address changes for whatever reason, your router updates your DynDNS account, your none the wiser and you can still connect to your profilux.
does not look like it is freea free service like DynDNS
It is free, it allows you a 1 host service without charge. Been using it for about 5 years now.
