Default Error while transmitting firmware!: FLASHERASE - No response - 8

    Dears,

I got this error when i try to update with the firmware 5.15.
profilux 3 firmware 5.12 : Error while transmitting firmware!: FLASHERASE - No response - 8

I was using Profilux Control 5.1.5.4, i tried also with the version 5.1.5.1
This is the first time i have issue with Profilux firmware updates, already did 3 updates in the past without issue.

Since i had the issue with FLASHERASE, i always have problem trying to connect with USB : Communication Error 28
And when i try with LAN , i got Communication Error 50

I am not able to connect anymore to the profilux using the profilux control software.

    Thank u for your support

In this case you have to perform an emergency update: See the file at http://forum.aquariumcomputer.com/do...?do=file&id=48 how to do it.

    Cool ... :-(
Unfortunately, i have a recent laptop without RS232 connector.
Do you confirm i can use a USB/RS232 adaptator without causing additional issues....
    thx in advance

Thats how most people have to do it these day. USB to Serial converters with Prolifi or FTDI chipset work best.
