    Default Float level sensor

Tried searching forum. Didn't find anything. Can you cut and splice a OEM level sensor? I am trying to fit a sensor inside the collection cup of my BK to avoid overflows. Don't want to drill a bigger hole on the lid. Can I just cut, slide and then splice the cable?

If it is just a simple float switch.
They are just a simple proximity 2 wire switch.
So yes you can do that with a simple float switch!
Would recommend using good sealable shrink wrap for that though to keep moisture out of joint.

    The two I have are.
Exactly the same as the ones I purchased from Singapore a few years ago.(except for the plug)

The optical switch has 3 wires. I would not use this and only use the float switch for the skimmer!
GHL don't seem to like anyone posting their supposedly proprietry information and may have deleted the post.
Bit frustrating actually, when I buy other electronic devices and even a car, I can get the wiring diagram no problem.
But if you want the wiring pin out for the level connections PM me.
