One feeding pause - two PL3 and two Eheim controllers - how to sync?

I have two Eheim 2078 filter pumps which I control with two Eheim controllers, each connected to a PL3 (yes, I have two of them).
When switching on feeding pause on one of them (always the same one) I want the second PL3 + Eheim controller also to go to feeding pause mode, so both pumps goto their lowest flow during fp.
The only thing I can think of is to have the first PL3 output a 'high' level on one of its 1-10V outputs and connect that output to an ADIN card in the second PL3 that can trigger the feeding pause there.
1) would this be feasible?
2) are there any other ways of 'syncing' feeding pause of the second PL3 to the first PL3?

Would this be something that needs to be setup in the Plc section of the software??.....
Sorry I am not any help.....but have u looked at doing it there?
