Default Higher savety through redundant sensors

From firmware 4.07 it is possible to determine a measured value through 2 sensors.

The measurements of 2 sensors are averaged (makes sense if it is measured in a bigger volume, e.g. pond) and compared.
If the measured values of the two sensors differ too much, than an alarm can be generated and the related control is switched off due to savety reasons. Through this, you avoid that a false measuring, due to a defect of sensor or cable, will have the effect that the control causes any damage (e.g. add-on of acid or CO2).

The whole issue is realized by "virtual sensors", have also a look at our programming guide on this point.
