    Default profilux emails - upgrade?

Any chance for more options for the proflix email options? I'd love to be able to get an email a couple times of a day with sensor data.
Right now we can do it with the profilux control software, but it has to be on 24/7 and I've noticed mine won't keep it's connection up wirelessly too well.

    which profilux do you have

a P3 can do it without PLC , all the others can't do it without PLC.

also its best to increase the timeout in the connection settings to something higher then the default 1000 ms my tcp/ip timeout has been set to 5000 ms

    Default p3

I have a p3 - it will send alert emails and digital inputs, but it won't send probe data or switch status from the p3 itself.

    uh...
In email settings (profilux), when you create an alarm, there is no spot to insert a variable. In email settings (pc) there is.

If it can be done, like you say but don't really back up with anything helpful, I'd love to know how.

I use 3 messages , most off them use the discription in P3 so use them too , they are all send by my P3 directly (remark : use short names because long tokens are cut off )

I always put alarm on top
email 1: alarm msg: (displays 1 or more alarms ) there is a thread on the forum why I made it like this

    General:
    $$ALMS$$

    Alarm Detail:
    $$REPS[10][5]$$
    $$ALMS[xx]$$
    $$REPE$$

email 2: sensor and level (you need to tweak level a bit ) and sensor is a bit fubar because the profilux also takes sensors in the loop that are disabled !!! ?????? I wonder why !!!!!!! GHL ???

    $$ALMS$$

    S
    $$REPS[32][00]$$ $$SEND[xx]$$ - $$SENV[xx]$$
    $$SENL[xx]$$
    $$REPE$$

    L
    $$LEVD[0]$$ - $$LEVV[0]$$
    $$LEVD[3]$$ - $$LEVV[3]$$

email 3 : illu and switch

    $$ALMS$$

    I
    $$REPS[32][01]$$ $$ILLD[xx]$$ - $$ILLV[xx]$$
    $$REPE$$

    S
    $$REPS[32][02]$$ $$SWID[xx]$$ - $$SWIS[xx]$$ [$$SWIC[xx]$$]
    $$REPE$$

    Maury,
I don't thnk it's the ISP. (In any case, I have comcast) - you gotta make sure you have the right settings. For yahoo, domain server should be smtp.mail.yahoo.com - use mailserver authentication and put in your login/password. port is 25.
