What is the possibility of having DAILY STATUS EMAIL UPDATES incorporated into the firmware soon..? Or is there a way to do this currently that I'm unaware of..?

I ask, because as a Aquarium Design and Maintenance Professional, that sells and installs Profilux Controllers to my clients, I would like to be able to have this feature... A feature that I had for years with a competing aquarium controller that is no longer available.

The following is an example of what I receive daily, at midnight, from one of my clients' systems.

    ===========================================
    Daily Status for '*************- 300g'

    Temperature(1): 78.6 F
MAX since midnight: 79.2 F at 7:00 AM
MIN since midnight: 78.3 F at 5:30 PM

    Temperature(2): 78.7 F
MAX since midnight: 79.2 F at 4:03 AM
MIN since midnight: 78.0 F at 12:58 PM

    Probe(1): 8.29 pH
MAX since midnight: 8.29 pH at 11:58 PM
MIN since midnight: 6.37 pH at 7:31 AM

    Probe(2): 5.23 pH
MAX since midnight: 5.23 pH at 11:58 PM
MIN since midnight: 3.32 pH at 7:30 AM

    Probe(3): 254 mV
MAX since midnight: 254 mV at 11:58 PM
MIN since midnight: 249 mV at 8:34 AM

    Probe(4): 1.026 sg
MAX since midnight: 1.025 sg at 10:42 PM
MIN since midnight: 1.026 sg at 5:45 PM

    ===========================================

Direct mailing of actual status is possible since 5.05f (PL3 only) - time scheduled or alarm triggered.

MIN/MAX is not forseen at the moment.

Would it be possible to get someone to explain the steps necessary to do this..?

    Thanks in advance. :-)

    • Start ProfiluxControl and establish connection to the PL3
    • Click on "Email notification (ProfiLux)" - second point from bottom
    • Fill in the mail data of the sender (lower part, self-explaining, I think)
    • Be aware: Email addresses longer than 40 chars are not possible
    • Also aware: Provider that require SSL are also not possible (like Googlemail)
    • Click on "New" and create your mail. You can use the tokens from http://support.aquariumcomputer.com/...ad.php?did=270
Hint. The message can´t be very long - don´t know the possible lenght, but it´s not very much. Following Message is a max. possible one

    PHP Code:
    $$ALMS$$
    $
    $REPS[10][5]$$  Alarm: $$ALMS[x]$$
    $
    $REPE$$

    Sensors
    $$REPS[32][0]$$ $$SENN[xx]$$ - $$SENV[xx]$$
    $
    $REPE$$

    Illum
    $$REPS[32][1]$$ $$ILLN[xx]$$ - $$ILLV[xx]$$
    $
    $REPE$$

    Switch
    $
    $REPS[32][2]$$ $$SWIN[xx]$$ - $$SWIS[xx]$$ [$$SWIC[xx]$$]
    $
    $REPE$$

I guess it's safe to assume you have to have the SMS Module to have this feature available?

No, this has nothing to do with the SMS module - it´s mail via LAN

    Hi

I am trying to set up sending emails from my profilux. I have copied the message above and what I get from a test is the following which is not quite right

    no alarm - all OK

    Sensors
    pH-value 1SENV[xx]$$
    Temperature 1SENV[xx]$$

    Illum
    Illumina. 1 - 0%
    Illumina. 2 - 0%
    Illumina. 3 - 79%

    Switch

There is something wrong with the sensor data and I do not get anything on the switches. I have checked the tokens and all seems fine. Is there anything obvious that I am doing wrong?

    Thank you
