once from new. then every 6 months if not in a zero flow enviroment

I would also take a sample of tank water and test away from the tank to make sure you have no stray voltages.

Cant get my head around this! The mv in the tank was 589 today. I took some tankwater in a glass and moved it away from the tank. Same value... I then took some tap water in a glass and put the electrode in it, value 421mv. I had my water change a week ago and no ozone. This is really weird. Come on chemists help me

Perhaps is the answer to late, but except ozone addition, do you have an UV sterilizer?

Hehe ye it was. The readings semed to be correct. Sold the tank shortly after but a new one is on its way 😃
