Default Redox Value positive or negative?

    Hi All,

got my Redox probe about 2 weeks ago. It is installed in a GHL container between Eheim 2217 and aquarium. Probe wires do NOT cross any electrical wires, hence there should be no interference for the readings.

This question is NOT about the redox value as such, rather a question to clarify my curiosity.

I have attached 2 screenshots, 1 showing the Sensor Values (Redox at 546mV) and one showing the Remote Control of the PL via Ethernet (Redox at 546mV -).

Hence my question... what is the Redox value ? Knowing it can be positive or negative, do I have a positive value here or a negative one? Which display is correct?

Thanking you in advance for your assistance,

    best regards from Downunder (Melbourne)

    Jurgen

First picture with "at 546mV -" show you profilux display and info that current Redox value is above nominal value (350 mV in your case + max deviation)
and should be decrease "-". For example if you use ozone this "-" show status of your ozone controller switch, is closed.

When Redox value is negative then "-" is before value not after.
