which cable is best for the up-grade?

Three questions:

1. Are the serial and the USB cables for the ProfiLux different than what is normally available from computer suppliers?

2. WHICH one is the best to perform the up-grade from Profi II to Profi III?

3. My new serial number sticker shows that the unit is now a Profi III. However - the unit is an up-graded Profi IIex....Does that need to be noted on the sticker, or is there a sticker that should say "IIIex"?

1: serial is different - only use our cable - USB is standard
2: serial is always the first choice because this is the most reliable PC-connection, but USB works in 99% also
3: the sticker is always printed for the P3 because we don't know for which device the upgrade will be used - when you performed the update to eX in ProfiLuxControl then the internal stored S/N will be changed
