I readily admit I am computer illiterate and these lights are smarter than I am. Whenever I plug my light into the USB and hit connect I keep getting message, "cannot connect device". I bought three of these lights over a year ago from someone who upgraded to the LX7 lights and have been letting them just sit but would really like to use them as they look brand new.
Would there be a video that could take me step by step?
I would first start by connecting the USB cable to both your computer and the Mitras LX6. Once that is done, open windows device manager and look for GHL VIRTUAL COMMUNICATIONS PORT listed under Ports (COM&LPT).
This will show you the COM port for your device.
Open GHL Control Center and click ADMINISTRATE at the top left corner of the screen. Select the LX6 connection, click EDIT, then set the COM to either Auto or the exact COM number shown in your device manager window. Click SAVE, then try to connect.
