    Default Electrical Expertise Wanted

    Hello everyone I'm after knowledge and help from the community.
    I have 4 dsuny led panels and want to control them using the 0-10v control from a profilux 4.
    I asked the maker for some technical details and after 4 months I finally got a reply as follows:
    control signal is PWM and positive, it can be controller by 0-6V.
    My question is what would I need to convert the 0-10v from the P4 to the pwm 0-6v to control the leds ?
    Thank you in advance for any help
    Regards
    Anthony

    You need a LEDControl4 V2 to convert from 0-10V to PWM

    Basically, yes. There is usually a problem with the connection of the lamps, because you probably have to remove the plug. Unfortunately, the assignment of the individual cables is not known, so that it would have to be measured. The manufacturer may be able to help. Usually there are some cables, 2 current and 1x PWM- and for each colour a DIM+.

    Well i took it apart and this is what i found.
    I have 3 pics.
    The first one is inside the controller. The second is the light on the controller side and the 3rd is the light on the daisy chain side.
    In the controller there is a 34vdc from the light i

    1R +34vdc
    GND = Ground (lol)
    2B=channel 1 0-4vdc (0-100%)
    3G=channel 2 0-4vdc (0-100%)
    4Y=channel 3 0-4vdc (0-100%)
    5W=channel 4 0-4vdc (0-100%)
    6F = NO IDEA !!! its 2 wires into 1 on both ends but carries no voltage?
    Will the light controller run this or will I need something else ?
    Many thanks
    Anthony

    I understand, your lamp has four colors, blue, yellow. green and white, no red? If so, you can try the following.
    Desolder the 2B, 3G, 4Y, 5W cables from the controller.
    Connect the cables with LEDControl4V2
    2B->Pin5
    3G->Pin4
    4Y-> Pin3
    5W->Pin2
    GND (keep connections to the controller) ->Pin6 (I'm not sure, just try if the previous one doesn't work alone)
    If you connect it this way, you will need your existing Conroller to power the lamps.
    Since I don't know the controller and the lamp, there is no guarantee that it will work.

    Thanks again.
    Each individual unit has its own (the brick says 38vdc) on it but it runs at 34vdc.
    If you actually take the controller off the lights stay on at the last setting so I think the 34v + in the controller is just a spur to power the controller so won't need this......we shall see lol

    Here we go this is what I plan on doing !!!
    Desolder the channels off the control unit completely and sconnect them to the pins as you described.
    I'm assuming ???? 6Y is the pwm negative so I'm connecting that to pin 6.
    The dc input voltage on the illumination control will be 5vdc so I'll attach pins 1 to 2,3,4,5 with pull up resistors !!!
    If you hear a bang and a big puff of smoke don't worry its not North Korea its my leds going pop lol
