Can NOT connect USB though wi-fi connection works
I can NOT connect by USB, however my wi-fi connection works. I have the newest GCC 1.0.9.8 installed and my Profilux 3 has firmware 6.10 installed.
I'd like to upgrade the firmware so I can get on MyGHL, install an optical sensor, and another PAB. I have read through both stickies above and searched the forum & web for answers.
I lost the original USB, but have a purchased another USB cable, installed the driver in the GCC folder, but Windows (verified genuine) shows this error in the Device Manager:

I then forced that driver to be the GHL VCOM driver. Worth a try? Should I uninstall that? Then I get this:

On the Profilux settings page, I have tried the above stickies suggestions and re-started the GCC, but no luck. For example, I tired setting the COM port, tried <AUTO>, tried the delay setting, and combinations of these options:
