    Default PAB cables

Is there a difference between standard patch cables and PAB cables.

That would be nice to know, it would be easier to make custom lenght cables if its standard cat5 cables.

We already offer PAB-cables up to 50m long.

You can try other similar cables, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted communication between the connected devices.

PAB cables are Cat5 ( I assume it might be a FTP-version) cables - its even stamped on the cable itself. I see no difference between a PAB and a CAT5 cable in any way.

Nice to know, but dont help much if you need 46meters.
    Or any custom lenght.

Has the original cables T568A or T568B standard ?
I dont understand the unwillingness to aknowledge and help those who want to make their own cables.

You can use whatever standard you want as long as both sides are one to one and not a crossover cable (the same pin leads to the same pin on the other end).

Same as the fact they are using PS/2 cables and splitters and regular RJ-16 and old type "phone cables". The good thing is you can easily and cheaply buy cables and splitters that are exactly the same.
