New user - unable to connect 3.1N ex to GCC
Am a new user and recently bought a 3.1N ex GHL Profilux used . Still trying to learn a lot from all the posts and stickies out here .
However am stuck at 2 issues :-
1. On starting up the controller without connecting to the PC , I receive this message :-
I am trying to follow your guide and change the language by navigating to Extras . Am able to navigate inside Extras but don't see the option of "Sprache".
2. Secondly, I downloaded GCC v1.1.0 and tried to connec to my GHL Profilux 3.1 N ex via USB following the guide you have mentioned.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/9i4l79svjv...Guide.pdf?dl=0
From page 6, but it just shows device not connected . On clicking connect, it tries connection and then throws an error message :-
Communication Error!
Error Code:41
I did validate my COM port in Device Manager and its COM4.
Any help will be appreciated to just get me started .

Abhishek

I believe the Communication Error is due to the newer version of GCC that I downloaded (v1.1.0) but my Profilux is older version. How do I know the firmware version of my Profilux so that I can download the necessary GCC .
Or even better, how do I update my Profilux version to match GCC ?

So I think I might have resolved that issue and now its asking for a PIN which I dont know and neither does the seller remember . This is what its asking on clicking connect :-
How do I reset the pin and bring everything to factory settings since the profilux too showing the pin issue ?

Had a call with Vinny . Problem is I could not even switch to English.
Vinny suggested to run emergency update on the profilux with latest firmware of 6.29.
Followed the procedure and emergency update was successful .
However, on switching it back on it throws a new error - Memory Defective
If I go to EXTRAS , its still asking to ENTER PIN .
Sent the mail to Vinny to update him about the situation. I have a feeling that the memory itself has to be changed which is not good at all.
