    Default Redox

I have set up the PH and Salinity probes from my Ultimate set and was looking at the Redox one. The manual mentions a 'null plug'. I am not sure what this is and there is nothing else that came with the probe.

    Can anyone explain please.

    Thanks

Null plug is basically the plug with no cables attached to it.
    It's for calibration purposes.

As mentioned above, this is the small plug the redox probe uses for calibration. The piece is included in the box, check the probe box and bag. It can be easily missed because of its size.

I have had a good look thru the box and checked the probe packaging as well. There isn't anything else at all....

    Cancel cancel!!!!

I just thought I would check thru my store of 'stuff' just on the off chance... and there is a little bag with a blank plug... BNC? I think it must have got packed away without noticing it. Anyway, thanks guys.

    Much appreciated!

Unplug the probe and plug the null plug to connector when it´s asked.

    first calibration
insert null plug a BNC connector.
    wait for beep.
disconnect null plug connector and insert redox
    do calibration ..
    it's right?
