Why not produce a 3 x Ultraviolet-LED-boards (like PL-0924), we can replace 3 of 6 hyper violet card by 3 ultraviolet after that we can drive a violet channel composed of 3x425nm + 3x385nm. This will not be LX7 cluster led but will offer few ultraviolet for lx6 user for cheaper (<49€).

I don't think that this is what most want, they want the complete LX7 LED setup. And I don't think that we want to have 3 spots with UV and 3 spots with HV.

Produce a 3x or 6x UV kit and people that just want 3 UV and keep 3 UV will buy and replace juste they need and people want 6xUV will replace all.

Why would any one do that? It would not give a uniform light distrubution when some of the clusters are diffrent.

I was thinking that UV light was diffused light and will will no see but maybe i'm wrong.
The problem is i think GHL can't make a UHV board that contain a UV + HV leds to replace original HV board.

It's very pity to have to replace all leds.

But the idea was to get both uv, to get more/better fluorescence. Adding them only on some clusters, will make the corals get diffrent uv spectrum, and you would miss out off the better fluorescence, as its a combination of the 2 uv, to get the broader spectrum.

I would be interested in these for my 2 mitras, I would also consider a LX7 to complement the 2 upgraded models

    Hi GHL team...

Any news on a modular upgrade kit for LX6 lightings to the new LX7 ?
I think more intrest will develop over time while LX7 is rolling out.

Please note that one of GHL strong selling points in comparison to other
controller/lighting brands is the modular upgradability so i really hope that this
proposal gets GHL attention that it deserves!!

GHL team, have you decided to build the upgradable clusters?. I want to make a decision with moving forward on my lighting strategy so a simple Y/N will help me make this decision.

If yes please give an indication of when they will be produced, happy to pay upfront.
If No then this also fine I just want to know rather than holding on for more marketing upradabilty nonsense.
