Hi Vinny, thank you for your response. I know it is pretty difficult to calculate individual usage. However, as the fixture runs pretty hot (at 65 C for 5-6 h a day) I guess that reduces the LEDs...
Hi all: I have run a Mitras 7206 on my reef tank since 2017. I'm feeling that the corals on the bottom of the tank do not do as well as they used to do. My question is, what is the life expectancy of...

Hi Vinny: thank you for your response. The Octo connection is through the GHL breakout box. Therefore the RJ12 cable that comes out of the box and connects to the YL2 cable is GHL.
Then, if I connect a Tunze 6105 and a Octo by means of RJ12 cables to each socket of a YL2 cable and the YL2 to port L1/L2 then both pumps will react the same way?
I have the GHL connect app to connect to my Profilux 3. I have observed that after a power outage it is not possible to connect again with Profilux, and the icon in the Profilux 3 display goes on and...
Thank you for the response. However, I still do not see how to make that two stream groups work in a coordinated way. I mean, the first stream group works at minimum flow or even stops working while...
Currently I have two Octo pumps, one Tunze 6105 and one 6095. They make and up and down wave on a sequential basis (first one of the Octo, then the 6105, then the 6095 and finalle the second Octo)....
Thanks a lot Vinny. Actually I have to dismount the fixtures as now they are in two holding rails. I will not forget unplugging them LOL
After quite a time of running the fixtures the fans are noisier than they used to be. Is it recommended to open up the fixtures and clean the fans or is it better to clean them from the outside...
Eventually I could upgrade the wi-fi module. It seems the upgrade only works with the master fixture and previously I had been trying it with one of the slaves.
Once I upgraded the wi-fi module I...
Hi Vinny, thank your for your response, but I'm afraid none of the suggested procedures worked.
1. I restarted both Windows 8.1 and Parallels once the fixture is shut off and the device manager...
I can only connect to Mitras fixtures by using USB connection. I have tried to connect via wi-fi, unsuccessfully.
Once I checked the firmware version (1.07) and the wi-fi module version (6407) I...
Thanks a lot. Wish the procedure was simpler. Updating firmware and Wi-Fi module in three fixtures takes time and increases the chances of something going sideways during the update.
I have already asked this question about the firmware upgrade. If you want to update the Wi Fi module in a set of master/slaves fixtures, you have to do it in all of them separately?
OK. I was guessing so, but I wanted to be sure. Thank you Vinny
The problem is that I can not fin the original Light Composer file. That's why I was asking if a settings file may be used by Light Composer
Thank you very much Thilo.
The light Composer files have a different extension than the Mitras settings files. Is there anyway to feed Light Composer with Mitras settings? I would light to modify my settings by means of Light...
When you update the firmware of a set of master and slaves Mitras do you need to do it in all fixtures or just the master is enough?
Related to these questions. If I want to dose Ca and Mg in a way regulated by the Ion Director, do I need a new doser 2.0 or 2.1, or the old generation dosers are OK?
There is something somehow implicit in your observations and that is worrying me. If the speed of the dosing heads depends upon the type of head cover, that may mean that a worn out cover changes the...
Hi Vinny, there is something I don't quite understand. The pump producing the noise is the internal pump, the one mixing the sample water with the reagent in the internal cell. Can you modify the...
Yes, I have removed the blue caps several times and adjusted the white cilindres. After doing that the pump works fine for several days and then, suddenly, one day it stops working. However I have...
