Finally - one of the most popular customer's wishes had been implemented:

Simulate the Nature's Seasonal Course of the Sun


Our extensive list of natural lighting simulations just got a new addition. At the request of many customers, we have now added Seasonal Lighting.
Starting April 05, GHL will provide updates for Mitras LX LED lamps, ProfiLux 3 aquarium controllers and the PC software GHL Control Center to support the new simulation functions - as usual, updates are free of charge and can be found in our download center.

With just a few settings, your ProfiLux or Mitras will be able to automatically adjust the duration and intensity of your illumination every day; similar to the seasonal cycle. We managed to simultaneously create a simple operation and a high degree of flexibility with this new feature.

Has the moonphases been integrated with the seasonal lightning feature?

Moon phase is a separate feature which can also be combined with Seasonal Lighting. Select the Illumination channel and check the box to enable moon phase for that specific channel.

Thx for your answer, my knowledge with profilux, and associated equipment go way back, from the early start and i know how the moonphase function works, but i was not sure if the seasonal lightning was calculated for the moonphase start and end time setting under simulation.

This is something we will be implementing in the near future.

Sounds Cool, cant wait. Maybe you have considered seasonal control of the dosing schemes. When light intensity and timespan is decresed, so does the ammount of nutrition needed. ��
