Lösung: Firmware Update Windows 10 USB zu RS232 PL3.1

Falls ihr euren Windows Rechner auf Windows 10 aufgerüstet habt, kann es sein dass euer USB to RS232 Adapter nicht mehr funktioniert. Ich hab mir über Amazon einen Ugreen USB to Serial RS232 3m Kabel für knapp 15€ gekauft und konnte damit problemlos meinen PX3.1 Firmware auf 2.29 über USB - RS232 updaten. Auch funktioniert GHL Control Center V1000 problemlos damit zum Speichern der Einstellungen.

Ich habe vorher stundenlang dies erfolglos versucht bis ich einen neuen Adapter organisiert habe.

Falls ihr einen Mac habt, vergisst es. OSX 10.2 und 10.3 jeweils mit Parallels Desktop V 12 oder 13 eine Virtuelle Maschine Windows 10 oder 10.1 zu installieren bringt nichts. GHL Control Center V1000 lässt sich darauf installieren. Eine Verbindung über LAN (gemeinsames Netzwerk Mac und PC) lässt sich nicht aufbauen. Und wer es nicht schon weiss; Firmware update über LAN geht eh nicht.

Hoffe euch Nerven und Zeit gespart zu haben.

The firmware updates are the same for all PL3 devices. You can find it in the installation directory of the GHLControlCenter under Firmware/Profilux3

The current version is the V633
