the other problem still exists.
every now and then the filter stops working. only a green led running up and down.
the view2 display reads: eheim ***1
the eheim controller looks good, flashing orange en green led on
when i reboot the profilux 3 everything works again for a couple of hours

Hallo,
die Anzeige auf dem normalen Display des Profilux II ist auch nicht richtig.
Bei mir wird angezeigt: EH 79812729 Tage.

akatar,
do you have to reset the P3 or the EHEIM to make it working again? how do you reset?
what are your pump settings?
-
just a restart of the p3 (power off/on) and the filter is running again
mode: permanent
wave: no waves
min 1% max 81% night 81%
that's all

I would like to control the filter manually. Just like the original Eheim software can. When it's in automatic mode, the flow is much to high (the minimum is 400 l/h).
Where can I find that in PLC 5.0.6.0?
-
If you set your EHEIM to 1% in ProfiLux the filter runs at minimum - in your case 400 l/h
EHEIM manual mode is not supported - only constant flow.
-
Is it planned to add it to PLC? Now I can't use the EC because PLC will put automatically the filter in automatic/constant flow mode with the (too) high flowrate.
I really would like to control the filter including reading out the state of the filter.

Hello Matthias,
An answer on my question would be great. And when the answer is a yes, I would be very happy and greatful!
As I wrote earlier, the flow in automatic mode is much to high for my aquarium. Now the Eheim controller is disconnected and that's not why I have bought it...
-
we support constant flow only, this is the same as operating the filter over the keys on the filter
are you using the lowest flow rate (only 1 LED on)?
-
Good morning Matthias,
Thanks for your reply. My filter (2074e, the smallest available withg Eheim control) is in "Manual mode". Only one yellow LED is on. In this mode the rpm can be lowered to 2100 in my case equals tot a flow rate of 227 l/h. But not by using PLC. In constant flow mode the minimum is 400 l/h. The problem is that my aquarium is about 200 liters (fresh water). So a 400 l/h flow rate is much too high. I assume i'm not the only PL3-user with a relatively small aquarium.
