Post some more pictures from your settings.
will do tomorrow after work, been at it now for 2 nights
this little pic is from the settings before we talked on the phone.
The built in LAN interface isn't shown as a module.
Are the LAN LEDs glowing/blinking on the LAN port?
Did you connect the ProfiLux to a router?
Please more details on your network and which settings you've made!
hi, the green led is glowing and the amber one is blinking.
i did set the ip manualy in profilux because auto did not work.
Attachment 2482
its connected on a linksys wrt 320n router
the ip from the router is 192.168.1.1 its range is from 1.100 to 1.199
i also tryed to manualy put mac adres i found on the lan settings in plc into the router dhcp table with 192.168.1.138 as ip.
i just tryed to conect with laptop and crosscable direct to profilux with laptop ip set as 192.168.1.138, same as profilux and then the ping went ok.
after the crosscable check with the laptop i connected all the cables again the same way as it was and :D its working.
wierd but true.
only wonder if there are any templates avalible for the user webpage?
thx for your help.
and again it failed,
its not getting a ip when i set it to auto and when i use a fixed ip its not pingable so whats going on?
it should get a ip
hi, yea the internal ProfiLux IP settings, and yea there is a dhcp server.
it did work for a while and now its not possible to ping, whatever ip is set.
my router is 192.168.1.1 and it gives ip addys from 1.100 to 1.149
i tryed alot of ip`s
subnet mask is set to 255.255.255.0
default gateway is set to 192.168.1.1
dns i tryed 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.0 or the dns i found in my router 62.45.45.45
ok, we must investigate this further
1.) if you connect directly over crossover cable (BTW - a normal cable is also OK for direct conenction, then ProfiLux swaps the signals) you have a connection?
2.) if you go through a rouuter you can't access the ProfiLux
3.) a powercycle from ProfiLux doesn't help?
