Dosing Unit Gen 1 communication led is OFF

When the Dosing Unit Gen1 was connected to an S port on Profilux 3ex, communication light was ON.

I bought a PLM-2L4S interface expansion card and I install it on my Expansion Box 1.

Then I connect the Dosing Unit Gen1 to this expansion card.

Dosing Unit is working fine but communication led is OFF.

If I reconnect the Dosing Unit to my Profilux 3ex, communication led is ON. (This means that the led is working fine).

It seems like the verification of the communication (led ON) can only happen when the Dosing Unit is directly connected to Profilux.

Is this the case or is there something I can try?

Can you post a picture of what you name "communication light/led".

It is the led above the Green. A Yellow one.

(Mine is not the stand alone version, so it's the same with the picture attached but without the screen on the top side).

Ok, it's normal:
"Several LEDs indicate the operation state: Green – device is ready; yellow – device recognizes communication with ProfiLux (only when connected to a digital powerbar output, otherwise it is off); red – activity of the pumps."

So communication LED need digital communication to be enabled on S-PORT.

But it is connected to an S port (on Epxansion box) and it is OFF.

When it is on an S Port on Profilux it is ON.

Because digital communication is only available on S-PORT 1-4 & 5-8.
