Hey, hoping someone can help. Ive aquired two mitras, 6100hv model, second hand. The firmware currently on them is the 1.15. Ive updated my profilux to the latest edition of control center as well. The problem I am having is when I attempt to update the firmware to 1.17.
Here are the screen shots, hopefully someone can chime in and tell me what I am doing wrong.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,

can you click the device manager button in your second screen and post a picture of the device manager?
You can use the Windows Snipping Tool to take the screenshot: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/use-snipping-tool-capture-screen-shots#1TC=windows-8

And now it tells me I have no driver...

Hello,

it seems you have a problem with the driver.
Mitras needs two different driver.

First driver is for connecting via USB and the name is "GHL Virtual Communications Port", you can see it in the first picture in post #5.
If you can connect via USB to your Mitras, then the first driver is installed correct.

The Second driver the Mitras needs is for the firmware update.
The driver have the name "USBVCOM" and it only appears when you are in step 2 of the firmware update wizzard.

Please do following:
1. Connect to your Mitras and start the firmware update.
2. Click "Next" in the first Window and you see the window with the "Device manager..." button. The Mitras display should be turned off right now.
3. Open the device manager and the device with the name "GHL Virtual Communications Port" should be gone.
You should see a device with the name "USBVCOM", if not you have to install the driver manually, please follow this instructions: http://forum.aquariumcomputer.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=85

If you still have problems I can help you via remote, send me a PM if you wish.

Artur,
Finally got around to trying this again. Yes, you were correct, USBVCOM driver was missing. Installed and bing! Done.
Thanks

Hi
I am getting the same error message... Manually installed the driver for the second part of the firmware upgrade and see the USBVCOM driver in the device manager. Still get the error message at step 4... Any suggestions?
Thanks
