I have a Profilux and i have used the Digital power bar for months.
Socket 1 through 6 all programmed fine.
I now connected the 4 socket analog power bar to the s5-s8 connector and it takes the 5-6-7-8 ports which doubles up the 5-6 sockets on each power bar.

other than make the digital power bar 9 - 14 what can be done:confused:????

The only solution is to give the digital powerbar the numbers 9-14 to avoid an overlapping.

So essentially I will loose the first 4 ports and render them unusable?
Wow that stinks...I only have 24 Switchable ports as it is and now I am throwing away 1-4.

I wish I would have known this before the purchase of the unit!

You could for example daisy-chain a dosing unit to the powerbar at S1-S4, then it would get no. 1-4 and the numbers wouldn't be lost.

This would be daisy chained off the digital power bar?

Good thinking! hehe

thanks Carolin!;)

That is exactly what I do.

My setup is:
S1-S4 Dousing Pump
S5-S8 Analog Power bar
S9-S12 Dousing Pump
S13-S18 Digital Power bar
S19-S24 Digital Power bar

Hi,

Looking for some more clarification

I have a digital power bar
a 4 unit dosing pump
an analog power bar

how should I plug these into the Profilux?

Dosing pumps in to the s1-s4 western plug then daisy chain the analog unit off that then plug my digital power bar in to s5-s8 wester-plug?

I currently have the digital power bar in the s1-s4 socket and the box is checked telling the head end its a digital bar but I cannot get the comms to light up on the dosing pump if i plug it in to s5-s8.

I thought I would come here before I blow something up...:p

analog: S5-8 - socket numbers are fixed: 5-8

dosing + digital pb: S1-4, set to digital, numbering can be set, e.g.: dosing 1-4, digi: 9-14

-> all numbers between 1 and 14 are used

I did what you suggested and if I go to program the power bar for socket 9-14
the dosing pump looses its numbering and if i set the dosing pump back to 1-4 the digital PB looses its numbering.

when I set the DPB to 9-14 the first pump on the dosing pump comes on and I have socket 9 set to be my main filter pump.

I jumped the gun on the above post I was plugging everything in at once.

I just tried it again each one plugged in seperatly and it worked like a charm....thanks for the info!
