Hello !
I’am brand new there, as I have just bought the profilux 3 starter kit and get it last Thursday.
My aquarium is not already installed, and I have to test the profilux computer.
So I limit the test to temperature measure with some cold water.
As I plug the Profilux computer in, the display starts with “slot 0 serial” “Profilux” and after the display change rapidly, nothing could be seen just as it was constantly scanning menus.
The “window” bar to the right moves up and down rapidly.
The same does without any item connected or with the ph/redox sensor.
Does anyone of you having encountered such a situation?
what to do except return the computer?
i think this could be due to impact as the delevery box of the starter kit shows one.

Thanks for your advice
Christian

Sounds like a blocked key switch - try to press al keys if they are all working with a 'click'

If one is blocked (i suggest up or down key), this behavior could occur. If you can´t release it by clicking, you should contact your dealer.

You're right.
When i press the right key the scanning stops and begins again as i release.
I keep the dealer informed.
Thanks for your advice.

Sewatec told me to try updating the profilux computer.
I tried many times, without any success after having the profilux computer connected to my PC, using a RS232/USB converter.
I choose File/Firmware update profilux of the ProfiluxControl utility and load the profilux3 511 FR ENG.mhx, having power switched as required.
It ends while erasing flash, profiluxcontrol telling me "error while transmitting firmware : FLASHERASE no response 8

i think the only way left is to return the computer.
