Adding PLM-4L card in the system

I have one PLM-4L card which I want to add to the system.

L1 - L6 are in profi 3ex
L7- L12 are in expasnion box 1
L13-L16 are in expansion box 2

If I add the new card to profi 3ex, then
L1-L10 will be in profi 3ex,
L11- L 16 in expasnion box 1
L17 -L20 in expansion box 2

This means that I have to reprogramm all Ls (example: L7 was in expansion box1 now it will be in profi 3ex) or the system understands the new card and keeps the programm from the previous set up?

Yes, if you don't like to replug all the devices, then you have to assign the funtions for the L-ports anew.
