5.01b was just a small bug fix from 5.01

if I have 5.00 firmware do I have to update all firmware's in between till I get to the latest 5.01b or could I just upload 5.01b and still get all other previous firmwares automatically !:D

Usually with FW you just go to the latest version. With my PII+ I went from 4.05 to the latest (5.01) in one step.

I wouldn't take my word as the "end all" with this controller. I'm just now getting into it and I could be wrong. I just meant with any other FW I've dealt with you could just DL the latest version and be good to go.

Nope just download and install the new firmware. I've done exactly this recently with no problems.

Be aware you will need to do the firmware update with the current profilux control PC software you have and then once complete you can upgrade to the latest profilux controll too.
