Mitras Lightbar 2 & Ada Mini M Aquarium

I am interested in adding a GHL Profilux Mini and a Mitras Lightbar 2 to my little Ada Mini M aquarium, but I noticed the Lightbar 2-40 suggested size is 39cm-50cm where the Mini M is 36cm. Is this setup still possible? Are the metal supports modifiable in any way to fit 36cm properly?

Does anyone from GHL have an answer on this? It has been a while and I'm dying to know if I can use this tech.
